The Financial Year 2011-12 has come to an end. Production achievement of Telecom Factory,Mumbai for the year is 85% of the revised target of Rs.72 Crores. Due to non-receipt of requisitions in the begining of the year, it was really difficult to do Material Planning, Production and Supply. However with the help of you all, we were able to achieve the above target. Many items like OFTB, FDF, Pig Tail/Patch Cord, FDMS, Drop Wire, and BHT were supplied to the extent of availability of requisitions.

I am happy to inform you all that 23 million Sim Cards were produced and dispatched during the year which is 62% higher than last years dispatch. The production is ever highest from the same plant.

Telecom Factory  Mumbai was certified for Intergrated Management Services (IMS) which covers ISO-9001-2008 for quality, ISO-14001-2004 for enviornment and  OHSAS-18001-2007 for Safety and Health during the year.

During the year production of a new product i.e. MDF Splitter started and supply also commenced. The current year is very much challenging because in many area there are no sufficient requisition available to engage our staff. Efforts are being made to enhance the production in the areas where plenty of requisitions available. I am confident that with the help of all the executives and staff as well as unions, we will be able to over come the difficulties and achieve the targets which will help in developing BSNL as a whole.
